Red Velvet Waffles w/ Cream Cheese

A unique waffles recipe that looks amazing and tastes even better. These red velvet waffles are topped with a light cream cheese cream and fresh blueberries.

For the waffles: 200 g flour 10 g baking powder 100 g sugar 3 tbsp cocoa 200 ml cooking cream or whipping cream/yogurt 3 eggs 1 tbsp vanilla essence red food coloring 50ml (3⅓ tbsp) liquid or 3 tsp powder Optional: fruit or powdered sugar for decorating
Mix all the ingredients for the waffle batter in a large bowl until smooth and lump-free.
Then pour 2-3 tablespoons of batter depending on the waffle maker you are using. Make sure it is hot enough.
Bake until the waffles are firm but fluffy. Repeat until you run out of batter.
In a second bowl, mix the cream cheese with the powdered sugar, you will get a simple, fine, light but ever so tasty cream.
Spread each waffle with cream, add plenty of blueberries and repeat with as many waffles as you wish to add to the little Red Velvet cake.
Decorate with extra fruit and powdered sugar.
